Honda Rebel 1986 CMX250C Sight Glass MC

Hi All,

I am all new to this forum, and I hope that I am posting my question in the correct thread.

Currently i am trying to locate a brake master cylinder for my Honda Rebel CMX250C 1986 model, since the sight glass has cracked with age, and it is leaking fuel. I have tried to source a new one, but it says that its discontinued. Could someone suggest another fitment maybe from another Honda bike or maybe a sight glass repair.

Call Jack at Jacks Rebel Warehouse. He can sell you a used one, he sells Rebel parts. Or he can tell you if a newer generation would be compatible with the older bikes.

Welcome, Andrea.

This seller provides replacement glass (not plastic) sight windows. Just tell him what bike you need it for.!24084!US!-1

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

It's almost cheaper to buy a new master, then replace the sight glass. Oh, replacing the sight glass can be a real pain in the ass. TAKE YOUR TIME! I used a small socket to press the new one in, yes I used a small amount of silicon to seal it.
