help getting the rear wheel mounted
This is a Nighthawk 250, but it appears the rear wheel mounts pretty much the same as the Rebel. My question is how far the brake shoe/hub assemble drops down into the actual wheel hub/drum. Mine drops in and appears to mate up well with the flat surface of the wheel bearing, but there is maybe a 1/8" gap when I spin the parts together. It appears to stay uniform and feels solid by hand, but I can push down on the edge and it will tilt. I dont think this can/will happen once I have the axle in and the spacer tightened up with the axle nut, but just want to be sure. I played w/the brake shoe hub and it does not twist into any groove that I can tell (like the front one that needs to be meshed w/the speedo gear). I did NOT remove the bearings or spacer. Please tell me I can put it together like this and its normal to have that gap- dont worry, I do not see the shoes- it drops in some, but not up flush with the hub- which I think must be normal as it needs to SPIN and not rub each other. Thanks!
