Handling mods worth the cost?

I know many of you have Nighthawks too-- and thats what I plan to start later this year. I still have the Rebel, but its just a bit small for me and I like the NH riding/seating position much better. Rear shocks would be easy, but I'm not sure if they w/be worth the cost??? Maybe the forks would feel better w/new springs and premium/heavier? fluid? Again wondered if anyone here can say the difference is amazing or that the feel vs the COST was not really worth the trouble/$.

Comfort and enjoying your ride is always worth it, but yeah the return on $$ is the question.

You can adjust the pre-load on the rear shocks to get a stiffer response.
