Changing wheel size

I'm looking to put the 16" wheels off of a 2017 rebel 300 onto a 2012 rebel which has 18" front and 15' rear. The bike has been made into a bobber style and has no fenders. I'm wanting to know if the hubs will match up for mounting. They look the same in the pictures but I can't put my hands on the used rims I'm looking to buy. If these won't work anyone know of o 16" wheel that will without spokes. I want to go away from spoke wheels. Thanks in advance

Garage
they will not bolt right up - different size axles and axle spacers

best to start with wheels that have the same axle diameters and have some spacers made to fit

Welcome. Without the dimensions of the Rebel 300 hub, it would be hard to say. Regal Raptor alloy rims are a direct fit for the first generation (1985-87) 250, and can be easily adapted to the second generation (1996-2016)) too. But they are 18" front and 15" rear.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!
