You put the left side on first with the nuts just finger tight. Then do the otherside. Make sure everything is lined up then start tightening the studs one half turn at a time evenly till they are all snug. Then tighten the crossover clamp and rear mounting brackets.
Start it and check for leaks, done.

I'm more interested in the details..which way to the spacers face? And what point do u put them on? How do the collar and Spacers work together to make the exhaust tight against the motor? I can mount the exhaust but its not secure against the motor

Then turn the collars around the other way.
You also need new exhaust gaskets. Remember to remove the old ones first without scratching the sealing surface.

This way

Or this way?

I need a step by step from A to Z to figure out where I'm messing up

Should I put the Spacers and collars on first then put the pipes on??

Are they supposed to have slots in them, or is that one cracked?

So hold that against the motor then put the flange on then put the exhaust in? I did that and it was so loose it could just fall right out
