Unhappy Cracked Exhaust

Hi everyone,

I noticed my exhaust has cracked near the "muffler?" and was wondering if welding it back together was a possibility? I've attached some photographs of the crack. I would appreicate any feedback or suggestions on the best method to get this fixed! Thanks!

Best,

Garage
certainly worth a try to weld that - what have you got to lose?

Is it fully detached? I didn't see this post before I put my thread up. Mine is fully broken.

Yeah, unfortunately the crack goes all the way round, it's now two pieces. If it weren't for the exhaust mount the rear piece would've fallen already.

Mine is the same. There was a tack weld on the bottom and someone only welded the outside half. It's a super thick bead that didn't stick on the pipe side. It vibrates ridiculously bad after the bike hits 45 mph. It has nowhere near the proper back pressure and the cylinder/sparkplug is coated in soot.

I'm thinking of just getting the mufflers from Blue Collar Bobbers. They told me the bike won't even need to be re-jetted
