There are some very nice roads in N Alabama. Alabama Motorcycle Roads & Trips - Best Alabama Motorcycle Rides & Routes

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Putting your bike year and model in your signature helps others help you!

K-Mart,
I will be making the ride. It will probably take me an hour to get there, so don't wait on me. If everyone will park their Rebels together I will find you. If you park them one bike at a time I will find you one bike at a time.

Thunder Beach was a fun event, although it was hard to find a good parking place. If you rode a black Harley to Thunderbeach, it probably took you all week-end to find your bike. Seems the secret was to just try your key on every bike around where you parked. If it started you more than likely found your Harley. Of course, when you got home, you would have checked your VIN and tag to see if it actually matched up with your title and registration.

If it is not raining in April, we will have a GREAT time!!!

well i ended up renting a custom 1200 Harley which was amazing and got to realize how much i like a bigger bike but the weight of my rebel can go any where.

Adventure- take a summer and ride the Al-Can to Fairbanks then go around to Juneau and take the ferry down to Prince Rupert and thence home. I did it on a CB750 in the 70s and could see doing it on my Rebel but would count on packing a Visa Card and a lot of cash instead of most of the 200 pounds of gear I took on the 750.

I live in Panama City and worked for years at a resort on PC Beach. Thunder Beach is, to me, a lot of noise and watching doctors and lawyers and managers play badass bikers for a week. Most of those Harleys have less than 1000 miles on them and, trailered down from wherever, and will never pass 2000 miles before they are sold or abandoned in the garage.

Those ppl (doctors and lawyers and managers) view Harley's as a status symbol like Jaguars and Cadelliacs use to be in the 80s. My Honda has seen almost 20,000 miles on since summer '12 began; without any major incident. i use to want a harley, not anymore.
