But that's not bad if you want to ride a Goldwing trike just for the weekend. Like a trip over to the Dragon. They have those too.

I decided to sign up for the class at the HD dealer. $275 and they provide the bikes. I'll find out more later on which bikes will be used. 2 nights classroom and 8-5 on Saturday and 8-4 Sunday. I stand corrected on a statement I posted above, it is sponsored by MSF. But geez, gotta wait for October 22 to get started in the class. Guess it will be slow practicing until then. I'm doing fine over 10-15 mph. But for those that suggested taking the class, I wholeheartedly thank you. Never too old to learn. And, I'm glad I don't have to use my bike or rent one. I can imagine .................

I did the H-D class. It's great because the classes are small in size and I really enjoyed every minute of it. The only down side is they take you on a "tour" of the sales showroom and encourage to pick out the bikes you like. But it was fun. And you're right, you're never too old to learn!! Enjoy!

Thanks. Yea, 8 people per class. I sure don't mind looking at their stock, but I'm not buying. I like the Rebel just fine. I've always been a Honda person and don't see that changing anytime soon. The local Honda Dealer, Redline Power Sports, doesn't offer a class so I went the Harley dealer route. As a bonus, I can skip the SC skills test if I do ok in the class. I passed the Beginners Permit test last month at the DMV. Now I'm riding around taking in the fresh ocean air each day. Love it!

Will do. The confirmation letter says we will be using HD Street 500s on the track. Nice looking wheels.
