I live near Winston-Salem. Any 250 riders in the area. I love to cruise back roads.

Yeah I'm just southwest of Winston Salem about an hour. I'm north of the Rowan Regional Medical Center about 5 miles.

You must be near Boone's cave. I ride there often. I'm in Clemmons. Getting cold but perhaps we could ride some day.

Where is Boone's Cave? Did Daniel Boone hide out there? I'd like to ride where the famous Daniel Boone also rode.

Boone's Cave State Park is about 5 miles straight north of Salisbury on the Yadkin river. Boone's Cave Park Information

It's a nice park with trails and it's a great place to stop on a ride. Vending machines and clean potty.

Maybe not but if he did it would've been a Rebel and it would run on black powder and had a coonskin seat.

Well, Boone's Cave is on the other side of the river but accourding to Mapquest its a ride into town to use the bridge and then back out of town. It looks like a fun ride just getting there. I wonder if this maybe in the cave there is a tunnel going under the river. Maybe were on to something here...my brain starts on these crazy ideas and hey I gotta go check this out. I think I'll pack a picnic basket for Little Red and me before I go, I hope the wife doesn't wake up until after I leave.
