When I ride to Tommy Lee Park in Memphis, TN; I can see Arkansas (Half the Mississippi river is Arkansas) and I can just ride across either bridge I-40 or I-55 and I'm in Arkansas, but still a 3.5 hrs to Bee Branch. If you are ever riding on this side of the state, PM a day ahead, so we can go for a ride.

Every ride is a joyride on a Rebel

I'm in Forrest City. Don't know where Bee Branch is. I get out when I can. But farm work takes up most of my time especially this time of year.

About a mile outside of Fort Smith.
I've rode up to Fayettville/Springdale once since I got the bike, might do it again soon, maybe this week.
Would like to ride up to Eureka Springs when I get the time, Hot Springs is nice too but I might save it for next year.
Little Rock would be cool but I'd have to figure out how to get there with just back roads, a lot of people like to do 80 on that stretch of interstate and there are lots of semis. It was interesting on my Suzuki Savage, I wouldn't even think about it on the Rebel.

Not living in Arkansas, but I've ridden in that part of the world. Here's a ride that avoids the Interstate and has some really great roads: Take state highways 22 E, 23 N, 16W, US 71 S, and 64 W back to Fort Smith. Highway 23 gets very good several miles north of Alma, and the ride pretty much remains that way to US 64. There are some hairpins turns on 23, and a few sharp ones on US 71, so take it easy until you are familiar with the roads.

If you want a longer ride, take 16 east. Between there and Clarksville are a number of outstanding riding roads.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Flitecontrol I'm very familiar with that that as far as highway 22 west and 23 north. I rode it as far as the gas station by the interstate last week. The parking lot was packed with bikers, I found out later it was because the bbbq rally was going on in Fayettville. I thought about asking one of them what was going on but I was kind of in a hurry and just wanted something to drink.

Never rode (or drove that I can remember) 16 into Fayettville though, I might be trying it.

I've been meaning to ride into Paris too, I've heard they have put up a mural on a wall there with the eiffel tower and other French stuff since the last time I was there.
