That bridge is about 15 minutes away from my house. There are a number of covered bridges around here, the most visited one is at Buckeye Furnace. They restored it but it now sits as an attraction and hasnt been in use for years.lots of interesting stuff in this area such as the petroglyphs.

What about hitting Hillbilly Hot Dogs for lunch on the day before, or after ride? Roads are too boring to put it in the main ride methinks.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Flite I actually have a ride planned to go to Hill Billy Hot Dogs, lol. Breakfast in Nelsonville and on to Huntington WV and then Hill Billy's. Then back to Lake Hope. Long ride, not sure everyone would want to do it, but a days ride for sure. I could shorten it by not going to Nelsonville...

I loved my first visit there, wouldn't mind another.

There are 2 hillbilly hotdogs. If you are eating at the one in Huntington you are at the wrong one. The best one is in Lesage WV.

Yep, the one at Lesage! I try not to back track roads too, but sometimes not possible.

Well, due to incessant rain, I've got rides planned for every direction of the compass. We'll decide Friday night what tour we want to take. As short as 121 miles and as long as 189 miles. DNC the Athens visitor center is closed for the weekends.
