Ignition shattered, need help!

I've run into a snag with my bobber build. As previously mentioned the bike must have been in a pretty good wreck in its previous life, long story short the ignition switch is completely shattered. It was working fine until I moved it with the new bars, where it promptly fell apart, the PO rigged it with zip ties. Does anybody know...

a) where to find a 1st gen 85-87 ignition switch in good repair?

b) how big of a pain in the ass it will be to wire splice a 2nd gen onto a 1st gen bike?

a) Have you tried ebay?

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Here are a couple, plus everything else you would need to just use one key. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-Honda-...EAAOSwptdc0fwX

If you are doing a bobber build and skipping the "park" feature, using any ignition switch would work.
Red Wire from main fuse to the BLK=>>RED/BLK wire that feeds the other 2 fuses to power the electrical system when key is switched on. That's all you need.

optional: Run/Stop grounds the BLK/WHT wire from the cdi when selecting "stop" to kill the engine. ignition switch has a second set of connectors that do the same in the off position. you can skip this and rely on just the run/stop to kill the engine, or add it so you have 2 places to kill the engine.
