Hello I was wondering why my speedometer is loose in the housing I am able too move it side to side and up and drives me nuts when I'm riding because it sits one way then another from it being loose am I missing something too keep it from moving around everything's tight...anyone??? I've only had my bike for 8 months or so and when I bought it it was like that....

I can move mine around a little, but it stays in place while driving.

Maybe the rubber cushion has degraded (part 9 here) and needs replacing, or shimming.

Another possibility is the bracket is non-stock and isn't quite thick enough.

For reference, I included a picture of my speedo and how the parts appear (not so clear on the diagram to me). Hope it helps.
