Hey guys, i have an 1985 250 that was badly treated before me, its missing the shifting gear and some moron just soldered a long enough piece of non compatible shifting gear in order to use the bike, wich indeed you can use no problems. My rider pegs are in very bad shape and the right one its soldered into the frame, thats righ, so ima have to figure out a way to fix that in a way that looks good. Anyway i was just wondering if newer models use the same eg and shifting gear as i cant seem to find good used ones on eBay. I do find a Chinese 15dlls shifting gear on ebay, but im not sure if i should buy it, or im open to advice on what should i do in order to make this useful and pretty, thanks for any help. Ps no sure if you can see the soldered shifting gear on this picture.
