DIY Seat riser help

Hi all. I put a Springer seat on my rebel, and the front sits too low, causing me to slide forward. Super uncomfortable. Any ideas on how to un-ghettofi this setup? Currently I've just stacked a bunch of washers to raise the seat in the front (pic attached).

i would rotate my gaze to the back of the seat - trying to lower that and the front will take care of itself

i couldn't use coil springs on my rebel - had to use some springs like this

you can bend the ends of these springs by heating them to red hot - that will give you some room

My springs are already pretty low. You think I could get lower with the kind you linked? Spring height attached.

Since you kept the shocks, the seat springs really aren't needed.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Yes. I think you can get lower with different springs. As Flitecontrol said, the shocks will do most of the work. I have a seat like yours on my bike. Love the look - hate the hard seat. The springs add almost nothing to the comfort of the ride. I'm going to change the seat when I get some time which probably means never.
