Aftermarket 3.4 gallon tank & sprocket talk.

I got one of those 3.4 gallon tanks form Amazon for 58.98 that have a vent. So being me I thought that the vent can be caped and not used because after all the gas goes down the petcock into the engine right? WRONG. I found with that vent caped the bike has a hard time to start. It will start but it takes several trys. So I installed the vent with a brass t now on the first hit it starts right up. I'm also almost done with the sprocket upgrade 15 front 30 rear and a new chain. Once road tested I'll let you guys know how the bike is with the 15 front 30 rear setup. I also ball cutted the rear brake drum.

Hey, any updates on your new larger tank, as well as the gear swap?

The tank did leak on me. I read several posts about these chinese tanks leaking. Lucky I had some RedKote tank sealer did the trick hasn't leaked since. The 15 tooth sprocket didn't clear my chain because I'm running a heavy duty chain if you run a regular chain the 15 will work. But the 14 30 sprocket setup is slightly noticed. The bike still has heavy down shift in 1st but not as bad.
