I'm having trouble with the charging system. Under throttle it charges only to 12.5 volts I remember on my 87 it went up to 13.5 to 13.7 volts I've decided to replace the reticifyer if that doesn't work then I'll open up the stator side and start looking at wires. Other than that it's a blast to ride.
Disconnect the battery negative cable while its running and measure the voltage of the cables again, just to confirm its the charging system itself and not a battery issue...
Turns out it was a small wire touching the sprocket housing.
