650 nighthawk to 250 nighthawk

Alright guys i recently pick up a 95 honda nighthawk 250 and was wondering if the 650 rims were interchangeable simply because i do not like the look of the spoke rims and would like some different ones. Thanks in advanced!

Considering how very little is directly interchangeable between the 250 & 450 Rebels --- which were available at the same time --- I wouldn't hold my hopes up for an early 80's model compatibility with a model that debuted a decade later. Especially a model that utilized the CM/CMX 250 engine no less, instead of the Nighthawk I4 platform that sailed under the CB designation.

Seriously, much like the Rebels they probably don't share much more than a marketing name.

The only thing I can think of --- and it's a long shot --- try finding a European/Asian marketed outfit, as their later model CB250 had aluminum wheels AND a disc brake (you'll need the fork lowers as well for the caliper and axle/bushings).
