Any idea if it was liquid or solid?

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Welcome. Very sorry to hear this.

Could you be more descriptive about what was put into your oil filler? Was it a liquid, a solid, powder, etc? Basically, tell us every detail that you know about it, including volume/quantity of material, etc.

Seems he said he doesn't know what. Is it possible to find out from the "someone" what it was they put in there? This is weird sounding. Sounds like someone did whatever they did, acrimoniously / maliciously. If it was a metal part, there are magnets on retractable extensions. Maybe see if one could fit down in there and pick it up. Good luck.

The only changes so far.

Sorry to hear that.

I would take off the crankcase cover and perform a visual inspection.
