New to Bikes, Honda Rebel 450 Trike

Hey everyone,
I'm Colton, I am originally from NW Louisiana, here on August 18th I will me leaving with my room mates to move to Augusta, Maine. Long story short, I have ended up with a possible 1980's (thinking 86/87) That has been converted into a trike with a solid rear axle. I'm completely new to motorcycles however I've been planning on getting a bike here soon anyways. So here I am, looking for information, a new hobby, and some friends.

Also, If anyone has information on converting this back to a Motorcycle, please, leave it down below. I cant seem to find it online.

Welcome, neighbor. The Rebel 450 was only made for two years, 1986 and '87. The year for yours should be on the neck, along with the VIN.

Jacks Rebel Warehouse, in central Florida, is probably one of the best sources for 450 parts. Jack might be interested in swapping the trike for a two wheel 450. You could call/email him and ask. He would probably be the one to ask about the reverse trike conversion as well since they are about as common as hen's teeth. It's a good idea to take a basic riding course before getting a bike, such as those offered by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). It teaches the fundamentals of riding, and is a good foundation for building your knowledge and motorcycle skills. Professionally taught riders have fewer accidents than those who are self/friend/relative taught.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

I will definitely shoot him an email, just got confirmation that it was done by him actually! I'm actually already planning on taking a MSF course when I get to Maine! I appreciate it!

Once you've taken the course, read David Hough's books, Proficient Motorcycling and More Proficient Motorcycling. Then in six months, read them again. They have a lot of information that can help make you a better rider. You may be able to find them in a library, but they are excellent investments if you have to buy them.

Welcome to the forum.
I looked the last 6 months to find a trike conversion for my 450. Couldn't find one anywhere
so I am making one that bolts on my bike similar to Bic trikes.
I rebuild 450's to resell. I like to put about 100 miles on them before I sell them to make sure everything works as it should.
My balance has gone to hell so I can't ride 2 wheels anymore. So this bolt on trike set up will let me swap it to the other 4 450's
I am going to rebuild.
I will put some pictures of what i am building when I get it done.
