New member, new bike.

Hey all. Finally purchased a bike. 2005 Honda rebel 250. 1100 miles on the odometer and shes a mint beauty. A couple of initial setbacks due to a recent carb rebuild leading to the choke line not being attached correctly and sparks plugs needing replacement, but other than that. She's perfect, I'll look forward to all the knowledge you guys have to share! Thanks
(ALSO. Cant figure out the signature, help!)

See my signature for how to make one. Noce looking ride, but those blued exhaust pipes concern me. Check the valve clearance first thing.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Are you thinking theres something wrong with the pipes?
It ran great until I trailored it home. I believe that's how the choke line came lose.

Welcome to the forum. Nice Rebel! "FlightControl" is refering to the discolorization of the exhaust extending from the head. As he noted, it is cause for further investigation. The transport would not have caused the discolorization of the exhaust. Best of Luck!

You beat me to it!
Blue means the metal has gotten too hot, usually from running lean, probably from the issue you had with the carb, likely fixed now that you have it sorted out.
