96 rebel.my first bike

Hello everyone,I'm eva.i just bought my first bike,a 1996 honda rebel 250 with around 3500 miles.awesome little bike for me to learn on.cant wait to get my license!!

Welcome. The Rebel 250 is an excellent beginner bike. I do recommend taking the MSF basic rider course, and getting a good DOT approved full face helmet.

We have the same bike in our garage sans windshield, serial#34...one of the first few models when it re-debuted in the U.S.

"Ride Safe, Chop Safer" Motorcycles are not unsafe. However; they are extremely unforgiving of inattention, incompetence, ignorance, and stupidity.
Dismantling, sawzalling, and rattle canning does not make a bobber.
Those are STEPS toward customizing, not customizing unto itself.
