I think that's Swamprabbit's project...

"Ride Safe, Chop Safer" Motorcycles are not unsafe. However; they are extremely unforgiving of inattention, incompetence, ignorance, and stupidity.
Dismantling, sawzalling, and rattle canning does not make a bobber.
Those are STEPS toward customizing, not customizing unto itself.

As do I.

FWIW I have a four pipe system planned for the Rebel-Hawk project.

@SWAMPRABBIT doesn't come here much these days, he spends most of his time on FB and from what I can see, he has moved on to a different project bike.

We are finally catching a break from the triple digit temps and I was up early enough to make it a play-day, so I dusted off the oh-12 and rolled it out to the driveway. First up was remounting the painted fenders, I still need to wire the lighting so everything is finger-tightened for now...just to get the parts off the shelves and onto the bike to make room for more parts later, A.K.A. "conservation of space".

After that I remounted the seats (also finger-tight for obvious reasons) and got to work on some other parts I'd acquired over the years. A set of aux. lamps and a not-to-spec windshield went on up front. I haven't connect the lamps yet as I need to get LED bulbs for them to reduce draw on the charging system, that and I was intentionally blowing off that rat's nest under the plastic cover/behind the headlight as that's always so much fun to put back together.

I was going to wrap it up with a set of hard bags but I am lacking scrap metal to fabricate mounting hardware, so that will have to wait for another play-day for now.

I will have to relocate the front directionals to the light bar as well.

Those bags are going to look good perched over the muffler extensions.

I also replaced the broken reflector piece behind the plate light

I suppose this finally & officially makes me part of the Black Rebels Motorcycle Club now (if you haven't seen the Wild One you owe it to yourself, especially if you proclaim yourself to be a fan of bobbers...either way you'll see what bobbers really are and enjoy a good flick at the same time ).
