LED tail plate bolt lights

I saw some bolt screw lights for the license plate but they are LED so my question is would this work for the Honda Rebel?

Those LEDs pull 20 ma or so. Voltage drop will be negligible. One tail light bulb pulls about 2 amps by comparison, or roughly 100 times as much.

There is already a tag light circuit coming off the tail light circuit. Whether you replace the existing tag light or just add the LEDs, the wattage is so low as to be inconsequential.
