Question LED brake light wiring '86 250

Good evening,
Please forgive me if the question has been asked & answered previously, I have not yet figured out how to navigate this forum. With that said:

I recently picked up an '86 250 I have started the process of turning it into a bobber. My question is in regard to adding LED lighting. I don't imagine it's going to be plug & play, if this is the case, what do I need to purchase to make these LED's function properly?

So far the only thing I ordered was an LED brake light but would like to run LED turn signals as well.

If any intel is needed, please advise.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. All the brake light needs is an LED bulb to replace the stock incandescent bulb. The only advantage of LED flashers is less current draw (unless you go the diode route) and (generally) brighter output.

There are quite a few threads dealing with the turn signal conversion. Here's a pictorial I found through a tag search for LED: https://www.hondarebelforum.com/f80/...de-119723.html

There are many more. If you have trouble doing a tag search, let us know.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!
