First generation left side cover

Seems like they are nearly impossible to find, are there any "reproductions" being made by anyone?
Mine has been missing since day 1 with me.
I'd like to cover up the airbox with something "prettier" eventually.

seems like it would be easy enough to make one with some sheet metal and a welder - maybe time for me to look into 3d printing

there are some alternate covers for the 2nd gen but i don't think i've seen any for 1st gen

i may have one in my parts bin - let me take a look

Yeah I have seen second gen reproductions but not first. The first gen metal left side cover is a unicorn, I've looked all over, seems they are pretty much un-obtainable.

Expensive, but here's one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/AIRBOX-CHRO....c100167.m2940

These guys may be able to find one for less. https://www.dimecitycycles.com/catal...=83600-KR3-000

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

"Ride Safe, Chop Safer" Motorcycles are not unsafe. However; they are extremely unforgiving of inattention, incompetence, ignorance, and stupidity.
Dismantling, sawzalling, and rattle canning does not make a bobber.
Those are STEPS toward customizing, not customizing unto itself.

I've had good luck with https://www.hondapartshouse.com/. Ordered both my side covers from them.
