As far as I'm concerned, anyone who rides any type of bike is welcome here, even those who have not, but wish to talk bikes, as long as they remain civil.

Yet your sig still proudly proclaims "2009 Honda Rebel Ultra Blue, the fastest color".

Just saying.

"Ride Safe, Chop Safer" Motorcycles are not unsafe. However; they are extremely unforgiving of inattention, incompetence, ignorance, and stupidity.
Dismantling, sawzalling, and rattle canning does not make a bobber.
Those are STEPS toward customizing, not customizing unto itself.

I would have "liked" that comment but I know your feelings concerning the like button. 😏

This is true - through a transparent medium, red does travel faster than blue - this is why light separates through a prism

However, as speed approaches 186,000 miles/second (the speed of light) it is difficult to determine what color the bike is.

Under the right conditions: sprockets, needle shimming, sawzalling the exhaust, removing air box, a lengthy debate on engine oil and of course adding Seafoam, most if not all Rebels should easily attain the speed of light....

I think I've mentioned before on this site that I'm one who really likes the looks of the new Rebel's. I know there are a lot of other blacked out bikes, but I'm anxious to see one of these when they come out. To me, it seems a good combination of size, both in frame and engine - the 500 I mean specifically. Looks wonderful for just "cruising" around town on, or a few country roads now and again.
Maybe the forum can be split somehow with pre and post 2017 sections?

I'm sure we'll figure it out, and answer what questions we can as we learn the bike. May have to check the CB forums to get the whole story until it becomes common. Who knows, Honda may change their mind again next year.

Kind of interesting that there are only a little over twice as many 2nd generation 250s here as there are 1st generation bikes considering that they were made for 20 years vs only 3 for the older bikes. I would have thought more than 7 times as many.
