Just watched the video again and noticed the disclaimer at the beginning of the clip.

"This film speed has been doubled because the normal speed is boring".

SO they're not riding QUITE as fast as it seems.

All that mess of traffic is one reason why I no longer live in SoCal. Whats funny is to watch a motor CHP lane splitting with a line of bikes following him. No one messes with the motor officer. I'm always to chicken to do that when I'm down there.

And his video wasn't so bad. I've seen some do worse.

Even with the doubled film speed, riding like that is like buying all the tickets to have an accident.
Just a matter of time.

OMG...I would never do that I have grown attached to all body parts even if they are old. Lane splitting is illegal here in NV and wouldn't do it any way....

I don't think Lanesplitting is a bad idea, with all the trucks standing in half hour jams in NoVA, I could definitely cover some decent distance save time. Of course I wont be splitting lanes @ 50mph, just maybe 20-25 or so.

When riding you should have a proper Brains:[email protected] ratio. No one wants to ride with someone who is afraid of everything it is equally crappy to ride with someone who is afraid of nothing.
