Nice old bike. I'll bet it is more comfortable than the Rebel. Being 50 years old, I remember well when those were new. They were the next step down from the 400 Hawk, and shared much of it's styling. Jerry.

Yeah, the scenery and the weather look gorgeous. I love green, and I also love cloudy weather. Nothing like that here in the AZ desert. Jerry.

Very nice Twinstar! Could you explain what you mean by 'custom voltage recitfier' and why you changed it? Thanks

Nice bike. And you still have the sticker on the gas tank!?

Is that susquatch on the side of the mountain?

Nice Twinkie! (the bike was dubbed "Twin Star" down in the lower 48 )

See...this is the bike I'm holding out for on my next "Rebel" project. It already has everything I want (aside from the Rebel's dispalcement...but I can get over that easily enough since I wouldn't be shelling out the coin for what it does have): a kick starter and a drum front brake. Displacement becomes a matter of semantics once that's out of the way!

And if I wanted to shell out some coin, it probably wouldn't be much of an issue to swap in a Rebel top end...since the CM185/200 and CM250 all share the same bottom end as the Rebel. And while it might be a long shot, I'm guessing the CM250 belt drive would probably fit it too...unlike the shorter distance on the Rebel swingarm which prevents such a quick & easy conversion.

There are a lot of models Honda should/could bring back. But when you consider the fact that the "bigger is better" crowd wasn't interested in their marketing of an 1800...
