RIDE To MADRID - Sunday July the 11th - Meet up at three o'clock PM at the old Chevron on Central and Tramway in Albuquerque, N.M.. Brief introductions and roll out to Madrid for burgers and soda's or Sandwiches and Lemonade. We'll discuss at that time ideas for other rides and how to attract more Rebel riders. Thanks and hope to see ya there. This ride is open to Honda Rebels or any other smaller motor cycles cool enough to ride with us. There will be a few larger motorcycles such as Vulcans and Kawa's. Dues to monsoon season we may choose to ride in town, we'll discuss it when we meet.

So we had our meet up and ride today. Only two Rebels turned out. Mine and Jim B's. We had a BMW R1100rt, a Vulcan 500 and a Kawasaki Eliminator 850(I think that was the engine size.) One couple riding two up on the BMW and Jim B. and his wife on the Rebel. the Vulcan and the Eliminator belong to another couple.

We rode up to Madrid as planned and had dinner at the Mineshaft Tavern. It was cloudy and therefore cool so very nice riding weather. We did have some wind on the way back, but we missed any rain.

Hi. I am down here in Roswell. I just bought a 1986 CMX 250. It will be delivered November 5th. It is nice to know there are other Rebel riders in NM. Maybe I will have the chance to meet some of you next year. Lv
