thanks for the insight. I'll keep wary if I ever feel the need to venture back inside. I do plan on taking my warranty work to Carter since it's closer.

I hope Carter is also competent. As you can see from Shack's excellent write up, the bozos in the dealership service department weren't. I hate to say it, but you may be money ahead to do all your work on your bike. I know you have a warranty, but if you take it in for service and they screw it up, if they are not ethical (see Shack's examples) they will claim you let it get low on oil, etc., and ruined the bike. And it will be very hard and expensive to prove otherwise.

IIRC that's where Carter is. I haven't been there yet, they used to be Desert Honda over on I-15 and Tropicana when I frequented them. Still the same staff from what I hear.

I never had them work on my bikes, but folks that did never had anything bad to say about them. Last guy I know that went there did so because he accidentally used the green pump at the gas station and he had to get his carbs cleaned out...

Hey all, I'm from Vegas as well, in the Summerlin area. Just got my first bike ever about a month ago. '09 Rebel 250cc from Carter Powersports. My friend just picked up a used '01 rebel as well. we are loving every minute of it. trying to find more riders, and info on some extra parts for my bike.
