Sounds like quite a car. I was about ready to buy one until you mentioned the shortcoming in the variable suspension. Having to stop in order to select the speed range seriously detracts from spontaneity. I expect to be able to kick it down at any time without forewarning, and have my ride respond. Other than that, it sounds good. I think I'll get a Dakota windshield for my Rebel instead. Maybe next year they'll get the bugs out.

I'm in Chandler. I spend practically every Friday night at Firebird Raceway (I'm a drag racer--'85 Camaro), and quite a few Saturday nights at the Pavillions car show. It can get boring after awhile though, because the same cars show up every week. I am a serious classic car and motorcycle enthuisiast, there are a lot of classic cars there, but the bikes are mostly customs of some kind, a lot of storebought Harley clone choppers.

The Bugatti Veyron is quite a car, but at over $1,000,000, I don't see one in my future. Also, it's a little to complicated and refined for my taste. I'd rather have a '70 Hemi 'Cuda or Roadrunner, or maybe a '68 Mustang GT390 fastback, or a '63 split window Vette, with a (mechanical) fuel injected 327. No electronics for me, thanks. Jerry.

Several years ago, I saw a guy crash his Boss Hoss there, while showing off. He gave it to much throttle, and it took off, right out from under him. Went a couple hundred feet, fell over, and slid quite a ways. I imagine he was sick for quite some time. Jerry.
