Michigan riders

Any one want to cruise around this season?

I live in Ypsi now but am pretty familiar with all of SE Michigan. I'm trying to find some nice calm roads, Hines Dr. jumps out but traffic can be a little crazy at Hines. The back roads by my moms house in south Lyon are nice to but again the locals have no tolerance for a slow car or bike, and will force you off the road.

I'm planning a trip to the dunes as well, hopefully traffic is more sedate on the west side of the state.

Sorry to say, his Reb was a lemon! I think he must have sold it. We haven't heard from him in almost a year.

That's a pity. I live sort of between his school and his mom's.
Lots of scenic and not too busy roads and i always like to meet fellow Rebel riders.

Well anytime you all want to head a little north let me know I can tell you were good cheap lodgings are located. Have any of you been to the tunnel of trees (Harbor Springs)? We drove it with the car a couple of weeks ago. I can't wait untilI drive it with the bike! I will be in NC for a week June 5-12. But any weekend after that I would be availible to do a run up there, nice roads not much highway roads from Fremont on. If you are from the South you would have to overnight it for sure. Let me know?

I haven't been up in the Petoskey area in over a decade but that is a very pretty place.
Unfortunately, my work has me busy most weekends.
I'm the Ann Arbor area (Between Dexter-Pinckney) and would like to ride with some other Rebels.

As far as I know at this time my whole summer is open. My big trip to the Dragon and Maggie Valley is June 5-12 can't wait! After that it will be Mchigan trips, can't afford another big trip or do I have the time . My daughter has my old 85 250 Rebel, me the 450, and DH has the Nighthawk. I may strike out some weekend to the UP, last year I braved the Mighty Mac lol. There is a really cheap motel on 2 up there. I would love to make it to Copper Harbor, but probably not enough time to do that.

Any time you guys are headed this way, let me know. I'd love to come out and ride.
Maybe an area Rebel rally could be fun.
