Silly! It's just like kindergarten. We wear sticker tags that say "Hello my name is..." The only difference is, now that were bikers we'll have crushed beer cans on our forheads.

Hope to see you up there.
Not everyone looks like a 'biker', but I really don't think we'll have any problems finding the group. One suggestion would be to make sure we all have each other's cell number, just in case there is a problem on the road or we just need to find where the heck the beer tent is...

What brand will you be wearing so we can tell you from all the other biker can heads?

I am sure if we tell them when checking in we are with the Rebel group they would put us in the same general spot. I am having major problems with my unemployment at this momement (not getting anything). and I hope I am going to be able to dig the funds up to go. I will get there one way or the other. I was wondering if we could also just tie a bandana (same color) or something on our handlebars so we can have a signal for each other that is indiscreat to others? Then if you have something other then a Rebel we will know you are with us too.

But then we might be mistaken for a Gang

If you are interested we could make t shirts, I still have the design that I could put your user name on and email you the PDF. Then you could get the transfer paper (or take it to kinkos) and a T-shirt. Heck I could even add an event name to the bottom...

My initial route is up 127 to 115. I see 66 isn't far off.

cagie I was on the band wagon for maddoggs t-shirt idea, and I still think they are cool.

flite, not sure what's available up there, but they'll be smashed so you won't be able to read them anyway.

I just did Route 127 to 75, 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I kinda figured in keeping the bike on 2 lanes and see something different. I may change my mind and if I do I can meet you at 127 and M57.

I plan to take 37 to 115 at Mesick I would like to meet up with you guys there? I honestly can't do the shirt thing right now. I would like to but I will be lucky if I can get there at this point. I am comming from Fremont. It looks like it I turn at 115 at Mesick and then we could meet there? That way the roads are 2 lane and no highways. I have been up there that way with the motorcycle before Interlochen is not bad. Traffic will get somewhat but not too bad at Traverse City for the Tunnel of Trees and the city areas futher on. Traverse will be the worst for traffic other wise it's 2 lanes. Oneway DH said 66 is a good road from Ionia. Looking at the map I will be going through Baldwin. If I turn on 10 or you turn on 10 we could meet either at Reed City or Baldwin. Ten is ok road and 2 lanes From Baldwin we go up 37 to Mesick and then get on to Inerlochen? Or I will ride up 66 with you. I will pm my phone number to you later.

After glancing at the map. 66 - back roads through Big Rapids over to m37 just south of Lilly would be the best route. I may take that one, not sure yet, which way I will go.

@wby Wow, sorry for your unemployment snafu. I really hope you can make it.

I personally don't think it will be hard to spot Rebels at the campground. I do think that if every one of us tells the management when we go into the campground that we're with the Rebel group, that will make it easier. If you are the first to arrive, pick a good spot and then make sure to let them know where you are. That may be me, as I and my buddy are currently planning to leave from Detroit very early Friday morning.

As for other options, I'm up for whatever. Tie a green bandanna to handlebars? OK. Everyone exchange cell numbers via PM? Cool with me.

If the T-shirt things gets off the ground, I'll participate.
