Any date in August works for me.

I voted August 27 - 29, but really could make it any of those weekends.

I voted for late August only because it conflicts with my other hobby.

Okay just checked my dates, Early August is open too. I guess that screws up the poll.

Can we all agree to disagree the first weekend of August then at Cycle Moore? It seems it's half and half right know but most of you can do it August 6 7 8. We will never get a perfect poll anyway. I will be going to NC soon so I won't be online. I will ask for some help from all of you. I thought maybe putting up Craiglist adds about it in your local area's would be a good idea it may bring some Rebel's out who are not involved or know about this group. (doesn't have to be only Rebel's DH has other). If this is agreed I will do an add in Muskegon and the North area Craiglists. Can some others volunteer other areas in Mi. and Ohio and let me know? I will wait for your reply before we finalize the date and place August 6 7 8 at Cycle Moore. Maybe we can do a get together Breakfast to plan route, and get to know each other, then a ride. If we all bring or get fixings for a Pancake Breakfast to do at the campground early. I volunteer pancake mix, and surup. In Cross Village there is a Polish resterant called the Legs Inn that is open. It has a bunch of stove pipes on the roof and really cool. We can all ride to there it's at the end of the tunnel of tree's road and have lunch.

I'm in. 90% sure I can make it. My grandmother is at end-of-life right now...that's the only thing I can think of that might prevent me from coming. Should be an awesome time!

I would love to see replies from others who are planning to come, with percentage of certainty. I'm with wannabeyooper: non-Rebels welcome, too. When you ride a Rebel, you forfeit the right to be a snob!

I have a few friends with Twin Stars and mid 70's Hondas I will invite.

I am in favor of first week in Aug at campground; this should give me enough time to do maintenance on my bike; and buy a tent. lol

Did I read that correctly on the campground site, no reservations? They also look to have no major event planned the first weekend of Aug yet.

I can also get together early with anyone after June is over. To meet etc.

Yes no reservations. I have emailed them about a few us making plans anyway. I am waiting for a reply. I had emailed them last year (different event at that time) and they said no reservations needed. I think they have alot of room? I hope we get a few more people involved but if not things that start small sometimes catch on and become bigger. The Baldwin Mi Blessing of the Bikes, close to where I live, has had a Blessing 37 years now? It started with 6 or 7 and is now thousands each year now. I will get ahold of the few Rebel riders in my area to maybe the will help. They would not have so far to drive. Sorry Twitch about your grandmother. I just lost my mom in April she was 97. We had been caring for her for 2 years. It is hard, we could not do any bike trips so this will be good for us now and I am excited.

Very sorry about your mother. The hardest part about my grandmother is watching her slowly fade away. She is 90, she is ready to go, and she is frustrated by the way her body and mind are shutting down, a little bit at a time. I will miss her, but it will be a relief when she can finally rest in peace.

On a happier note, I now own a three-rail transport trailer. I'll have a nice, comfortable drive to Interlochen and won't be too worn out from all that riding to ride!

Oh man, that first weekend is the toughest for me!

I was thinking about trailering the Rebel behind the camper if camping is involved.
