Every time the pics don't upload for me, it's because the file size is too big. You might have to edit your photo. Also make sure it's in a format supported by the web site. It'll tell you what types are supported. If the pics didn't upload it'll also tell you why, i.e. too big a file size, ect.

Guba, thanks for the advice. I upload a few photos at VB Image without any problem, the right size, format etc. the problem is with the VB Garage.

yer pics are too big, shrink them, and vbgarage only lets you post a couple of pics there, depending on how big they are. I just loaded 3 pics there.

I think there should be a link to the VBGarage from your profile (if you have anything in there) Other down side is that there can be only one... OH well...

Best way to post pictures is to host them on a picture site (I use Google Picasa, I hate Photobucket, but if you like it, it works, just not nearly as easy as Picasa ), and then post a link to them. Then you don't have a limit (within reason), and can post full size pictures, without having to crop them or lower the resolution. I have yet to find a forum that will allow you to post huge pictures, or a lot of pictures. Pictures eat up bandwidth, which costs money, and this is a free site. Many forums don't host pictures at all. Jerry.

It may be free to the users, but the owner has to pay, to which some of us contribute to that cause. Bandwidth and server space are considerations on this site to keep his costs down.

Thats what I meant. The site owner has to pay for the space to host pictures, so it is not unreasonable to expect limits on the size and number of pictures you are allowed to post. Many forums don't host them at all.
IMO, rather than take up that expensive space, and still have to post small pictures, use a photo hosting site, post big pictures, and then post a link to them here. That way they are not taking up space on this site. I use Google Picasa to host pictures for all the forums I belong to. It's really easy to use, and it's free.
As far as donating to the forum, I have no problem at all with donating to a forum that I am getting a benefit from, including this one. Jerry.
