How do I remove the stock rear turn signals?

My neighbor gave me a set of aftermarket turn signals I'd like to install but I can't figure out how to get the friggin' stock lights off!

You have to un plug them from underneath the fender (black box) and un bolt them from inside the fender and pull them out feeding the wire thru the holes.

My brother wanted some after market blinkers.
He ended up laying his bike down twice in one week.
He sees it as a chance to change to after market blinkers....
Sportsbike of course... haha
