If you are i the right lane of a road with 2 or more lanes going in the same direction, you have the right to go as slow as you need to. I have ridden my Vino 125 scooter up in the mountains, and it will get down to 20 mph on some long steep climbs. But I just stay in the right lane and keep going. The left lane is there so others can go around. Jerry.

Here in NJ, I was surprised to find that almost all drivers are quite tolerant and respectful and curtious to motorcyclists. (I live in a very rural area of the state).
When I drive my car, I have A-holes trying to ride my bumper all the time. When I am on by Rebel, or even my scooter, they seem to stay back a reasonable distance. They also often "wave me through" at 4-way stops, and also wave me through for a left turn..........I was quite surprised.
I think it is because motorcycles have become hugely popular around here, and we have created a sort of "image" that earns respect.
I am never in a hury when I am riding. If I get someone crowding me from behind, or a whole bunch of traffic behind me, I just find a good spot to pull over, let them all pass, and then return to the road, happy as a clam.
The biggest roads I normally on are county roads.....45 to 50 mph speed limits. The scooter is flat out at those speeds......the Rebel is not evey breathing hard.
