When I was 16 I had a Honda CB125T (81) which had about 16,5 horsepower, my current Rebel 125 has only about 11... (in Sweden)

From what I can see my Rebel has about the same engine except from the single carburetor, the CB125 had two.

Is there some ways to tune the rebel so i would manage to keep a better speed? Especially uphill and when the wind is against you... I remember that this was no problem for the cb...

Perhaps this is already discussed in some thread here in the forum, or let me know if you have tried some tuning mods.

Twin carbs have been discussed for the 250, and there has been a guy on ebay (North America) off and on that advertised "super" performance enhancing dual carbs for it. But those who bought them said there was no noticeable improvement in performance. So I would guess the same might apply to the 125.
