Any way to clean chrome that has discolored from the heat? One pipe is fine, the other is not shiny. (Yeh I know, so what)

That's an indicator that you should be paying attention to. Blueing pipes means heat. A lean condition or exhaust valve out of adjustment or bad can make it hotter. Before worrying about cleaning, and yes you can do a degree, I would concern myself to find out why they are discoloring.

When I got my 450 there was no dis colorization at all. Then, I started getting some right at the cylinder heads. After consulting the OWNER'S MANUAL I found out that it says don't warm up the bike for an extended period of time as the pipes will discolor due to lack of airflow to cool them.

Thanks! I noticed the note in my manual also. Must have been the previous owners idling too much.
