any heavy riders?

I know the rebel is intended for a smaller person, but I'm a big guy and I just love the darn things and can't wait to get my hands on one. So I'm curious are there any heavy riders out there? I'm talking like guys who push the 300lbs point. How does the bike handle? how does it perform?

I have heard that the limit is 600 lbs.
So she can handle a lot.

wow thats inspirering guys! I was hesitent to post this question because I have heard from alot of guys (who weight like 110lbs) tell me that a bike this small couldnt handle me. I mean heck, I'd like to have a big bad harley, but I'm on a very VERY limited budget and I think a rebel is the best choice for me but I wanted to hear from some bigger fellas so I'd know for shure the bike can handle my weight.

I've been told it looks really small on me, which it is.
But it can hold the weight.
And always fun
You just cant beat the price either. haha

small is ok with me. I'm going for a very old school, stripped down bobber look.

I am 235lbs and I rode my girlfriends 450 Rebel on a 3hr highway cruise and it handled fine! The overdrive was a huge help. I included a picture of me on that trip, and I honestly don't think it fits to bad other that the foot pegs could be extended a lot further up.

I am about 240 lb. and have a short inseam so the 2004 Rebel 250 works fine for me. I'm not talking about just a little riding. I've ridden the Rebel over 21,000 mi since I bought it in 2006 and before that I rode my 1975 CB200T over 40,000 miles with no handling or breakdown issues. Maybe I should have been carrying these bikes rather than riding them! Irv

I'm 5'11" @ 225lbs. Rebel 250 carries me just fine, would like more leg room but other than that... it's all good.

Well, some of you beat me on the weight, but I'm 200 lbs 6'4".
It's a fun little scoot to zip around town on. I've taken my wife w/ me 2-up (her weight can't be mentioned) but I can say we were well over the 320 mark.

You'll be fine, just don't expect to go 70mph uphill
