Hello, I bought a 03 Rebel in 2007 with 68 miles on it. When I brought it home everything worked. Three months later the running lights quit working. Everything else works, head light, brake light, turn signals, bright light. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It does sound like it need a new bulb. That tail lamp is a two filament bulb and when one goes (either brake or tail) that's it for the bulb.

If a new bulb doesn't fix it, check the base of the socket. If it's corroded, clean it with fine sandpaper and wipe some dielectric grease on it to prevent future corrosion.
