Solenoid Problems - HELP

Hey guys Colin here, I'm not sure if i mentioned before that i'm from Belize,Central America. Parts here are a bit hard to get. I have to special order or get from friends in the US when i need. Well let me ask you guys. I just found out it was my solenoid and the plug/connector that is connected to it. that is bad due to acid from my battery. i need to get a solenoid and the wires with female plug that connects on top of the solenoid switch for my 2008 cmx 250 rebel. Can you guys give me some ideas where i can get it online? The exact name and/or part # of the 2 products i need. Well, again thank you guys for the advice you'll help me with.
Colin

Can anyone show me pics of the 2 products and diagrams please

You could try bike bandit, but I don't know if they ship international.

I ride one of the "classics", an '86, so I'm not sure, but the page I pasted is for a 2008, I believe you are looking for the items 5 & 6 . The large font number is bike bandits part number, the smaller in parenthesis number minus the last 3 digits is the honda part number.

Good luck, keep us posted.

The Rebel does not have a solenoid, it has a starter relay, up by the battery. The two best places in the U.S. I know about to get genuine oem parts are www.bikebandit.com and www.cheapcycleparts.com. Both these places have excellent parts diagrams that sow drawings of all the parts, along with a part number and price. I have ordered from both without any problems. A lot of parts places do ship overseas, but the shipping charges are extremely high. Jerry.
