1000 km a day is doable, but i suggest you have the seat redone first. Took my Rebel on a 8000 km trip a couple years ago. Normal speeds were pretty much wide open throttle for 8-10 hours a day. I guess about 90-95 kmph. There were fuel stops and a lunch break included. We stayed off the interstates as much as possibly, mainly because in Montana, Wyoming and the Dakotas, highway speeds are 120kmph+, and the little bike can't keep up with that. And I despise the slab, even in the car.
My bike has the 30 tooth rear sprocket, that helps. Before we left on the trip, I did a thorough tune up, replaced the plugs, put in synth oil, new tires (bike already had 20,000K on it), new chain, etc. Yours, obviously, won't need all that.
I checked the oil every morning, and after the lunch break. I found that when it was hot out (~35+C) it burned oil. I bought two qts of dino oil at a Honda dealer that we came across, and added as needed. Oil change was done about the halfway point. The bike burned about 1 1/2 qts on the trip. Not surprising, though. I lost count of the mtn passes that we did (including Beartooth Pass, outside of Yellowstone) and there were 6 or 7 35+C days.
The bike performed perfectly. And there was no babying of the bike at all. Poor thing.
But the bike now has roughly 42,000 kms on it, and it still runs great.
