Myrtle Beach South Carolina Fall 2005 Bike Rally

Our plans changed from leaving tonight, to leaving first thing in the morning, due to some child care issues.

We'll be hold up in the Compass Cove Resort on the south side of myrtle beach. We'll be hanging out atThe Rat Hole or at The Suck, Bang & Blow south of myrtle beach.

Anyone in the area look us up if you want to hane out. Its always a blast in myrtle. I prefer it over daytona.

Once again the myrtle beach fall rally was a blast. although there were only 70,000 bikes there this year, down from the usual 150,000ish +/-. The weather was wonderful, and there were plenty of sites to see Once we get the film developed I'll pst what pics were taken, although we didnt take many, we spent most of our time in the saddle.

Anyone else attend the rally this year?

Have never been to the Myrtle Beach rally, but have a friend who goes every year. He dosn't do Daytona, Laconia or Sturgis, but he always tries to make it to Myrtle Beach. As you mentioned, he gets plenty of saddle time while there & LOVES the surrounding area & various sites to be seen. Attendence was down by nearly 1/2 ? Dang, that's considerable.

Most of the "haulers" decided not to come down this year, most of the bikes were from NC, SC, & GA, and a few FL here and there, where normally there are bikes from many different states.

a-ha...Now I get it. The price of gas was too much for the "haulers", eh ?

Noticed that there weren't near as many vehicles on the road around here for Labor Day.
