OK. So both wires are functioning correctly. I tested the green/white wire and it does ground. So all the conditions should be met to create the sparks, but they still aren't happening even with new spark plugs.
Maybe it's time to replace the CDI and see if that does the trick?
Did you verify the wiring from the exciter coil in the alternator and the pulse generator? These are both routed up the back left side of the engine behind the leftside cover. It is very easy to pinch these wires and short out these components. If they are OK then maybe it is time for a new module.
