I haven't seen a Rebel converted to a belt yet but would love to see pics.

Me too. The only prob that I can see is you would have to remove the swing arm on mine to change the belt.

Pulling the swingarm is a piece of cake. To pull it, clean it and regrease the bushings and such takes less than an hour to complete.
Considering the long life of the belt I don't see that as a problem. I had to pull my swingarm to install a new factory chain that I didn't want to cut.

I liked the post about the belt slipping. LMAO what are you riding a mini bike with a briggs and stratton motor. Belts and pulleys have teeth that don't slip. I have never even had to replace a belt on three Harleys. (slipping lol)
