"Sorry. . . we're new."
First off, thanks to everyone for this site. Lots of great info and I'm learning a ton about these bikes from everyone's prior experiences.
My name's Jimmy, I'm 23 and I live in Huntington, WV. My fiance and I decided to get a bike to replace her old Geo Tracker that was beginning to fall apart. Too expensive to maintain and I was under it every other day. Figured if we need to use a cage at all we'd use mine. So we found a black 2002 Rebel with 3,400 miles on it down the road and paid $1,500 for it. We figured it would be perfect for her since she's never ridden a bike in her life (we're taking the MSF course, as well) and I've been riding it around for the past couple of weeks having a blast. Really a wonderful bike, a real treat to ride.

Welcome aboard!
No need to be sorry for being new! Everybody starts somewhere and the MSF course is a great place to start.

Welcome. At some point, you may just wind up with TWO Rebels. Jerry.

Hey welcome Jimmy, I think you might have discovered why this forum is so popular. The Rebel has a strong following.
