New to the Forum
I'm a fairly new rider, started in Nov 08 with a Rebel 250 (beautiful blue named Sally) and also have a black Suzuki S40 which I bought last year. I'm hooked I guess you could say and have almost 10,000 miles of riding. I just completed a 700 mile overnight, my first long trip ( on the Suzuki) and had no problems. Both bikes have seats that are great for me. They both get good mileage as long as I don't go really fast ( like 65+). I would enjoy meeting people who ride and appreciate the Rebel. It is a fantastic bike. I'm looking forward to many years of riding to make up for all the ones I missed!

Welcome Maryjo. If you add your location to your signature (be as specific or vague as you like), folks will know where you are and can send you a PM (personal message) if interested in riding. BTW, blue is the best color!

Welcome Maryjo, if you wrench on Sally, you will see a ton of knowledge around this forum. If you are accesorizing Sally, you can ask on the forum, and you'll get different opinions, pros and cons of a product, that way you can make an informed decision before you buy.

Welcome MaryJo.
Be sure to check out the Ohio rally (Sept 16-17, Lake Hope, OH http://www.*************/rebelforum/...er=asc&start=0 ,[replace the *** with rebel250 dot com]) and the Michigan ride ( Aug 6-8, Cycle Moore Campground, Inerlochen Mi.), both perfect opportunities to meet other Rebel owners.

Hi Judy
Yes I was/am on another and just found this one a couple of days ago. And I too am the proud owner of a metallic blue rebel! Have you gotten your 1K yet? I know you were close. I need to figure out how to post a picture. I tried but I think it was too big so it didn't go.

Not quite at 1k yet. The heat has been killing me. I really like both forums. I had found this some time ago but didn't save it to my favorites...it's in there now tho.

Welcome Maryjo. Not putting down any other forums, but IMO this is the best Rebel forum out there. Since you have an S40, I'm just wondering what you think of it. It is a bike I have some interest in myself. I have sat on one at a dealer, but never ridden one. Jerry.
