Hello all from the United Kingdom

hello everyone my names tony, im 17 and recently got my hads on a 10 year old rebel that had been sat in a shed for years its only got 3000km on it! im looking to clean it all up and make it a true custom im thinkingmatt black paintwork make the exhausts come up just next to the rear indicator re sit the tail lights and number plate to the side of the bike upjet it so it getting a little more petrol than it should be flamer kit in the exhaust running of a switch chrome up the engine if its possible and how would i do it ? im wanting to make it a true american style cruiser ( but i must stick within the brittish laws )heres a few photos of my bike and how much atention its getting

Welcome kneedown, nice pictures! I'm not sure the engine can be chromed or not. But a lot of people have polished the aluminum for a good shine. The engine has a layer of clear coat on it that needs to be removed. The spotting on your engine are places where the clear coat had a pit in it.

I'm not into chopping/bobbing myself but, if I were, I can imagine how exciting it must be to have a fresh canvas to work with. Enjoy.
